It is time for vintage again. The watch house of Hamilton has launched a new vintage-looked timepiece – the Hamilton Conversation Auto Chronograph watch. The Hamilton novelty is the fruit of the brand’s cooperation with the Conservation International, an environmental non-profit organization. Let’s take a look together.

The new Hamilton watch comes in round watch case in diameter of 42 mm. It is rendered in stainless steel, which is the same material for the bezel. The bezel demonstrates the unique knurled design, a design which is also adopted by the onion-shaped crown at three o’clock and the two push pieces at two and four o’clock respectively. The top of the watch case is shielded by a top-quality sapphire crystal and the bottom of the case is solid. The water resistance of the timepiece is 100 meters.

The dial of the Hamilton Conversation Auto Chronograph watch is a beige one. The color of the dial contributes a lot to the vintage look of the Hamilton watch. The dial boasts clear black Arabic numerals as the hour makers and artistic luminous hands. Two sub-dials are neatly located at three o’clock and nine o’clock, indicating the 30-mintes and the small seconds respectively. The small date aperture is located at six o’clock. The design of the dial is brimming with the vintage feel.

Driving all functions of the Hamilton Conversation Auto Chronograph watch is an ETA Valjoux 7753 based automatic ETA Caliber H31 movement. The power reserve ability of the movement is 60 hours.

Teaming with the vintage Hamilton Conversation Auto Chronograph watch is a brown leather strap. It is decorated by smooth rivets and contrast beige stitching. The décor of the strap completes the vintage look of the Hamilton watch.

If you are looking for functional watches with a vintage look, the Hamilton Conversation Auto Chronograph watch is the right choice for you.

Hamilton Khaki SkyMaster UTC Watch – Serious Elegance

June 24th, 2011

The watch house of Hamilton has launched a new watch that demonstrates the serious elegance that fascinates many watch fans. It is the Hamilton Khaki SkyMaster UTC watch. The Hamilton watch pays homage to its 1940’s chronometer, indicating that time is relative to stars’ motion instead of the sun’s. Let’s take a look to the new Hamilton timepiece.

Hamilton Khaki SkyMaster UTC Watch

The new Hamilton watch boasts a round stainless steel watch case in 42mm diameter. The top of the watch is shielded by top sapphire crystal while its back is a solid one which marks the traditional Hamilton crest. The winding crown stands out itself at nine o’clock of the case while two push pieces are located at two and four o’clock respectively. The construction of the watch case is water-resistant to 300 meters.

As an excellent world time watch, the watch dial showcases a decent scale on its periphery, revealing 24 different time zones. The date function is suggested through an aperture at 3 o’clock. The Arabic hour numerals are worked as the hour markers. There are three versions of the dial, namely the white one, the silver one, and the grey one. For the black versions, the hour markers are displayed in a contrast white color to the dial. Three hands are steadily gliding over the markers in the dial, indicating the hours, minutes and seconds. A fourth hand, with a large arrow end, indicates the GMT function. The dial is practical and functional.

Animating all functions of the timepiece is a Swiss-made GMT 2893 movement. Teaming with the timepiece is a black or brown leather strap. There is also a black rubber-backed sailcloth strap as an alternative of the leather strap. Any version of the strap could nicely present an elegant look of the Hamilton timepiece.

Targeted at global travelers with taste, the new Hamilton watch is seriously elegant.
