Founded in 2009, the young watch brand Da Vindice got its inspiration from the world’s great invention from the middle age. The essence of the brand is the innovative spirit and most of the Da Vindice watches feature unique and creative watch design. The new Vindex Tourbillon Barometer watch, embracing the brand’s spirit, features new innovative design.
As a barometer watch, the new Da Vindice Vindex Tourbillon Barometer could measure the atmospheric pressure and forecast weather. The type of barometer in the watch is an aneroid barometer. It manages the atmospheric pressure in a capsule which will expand or contract according to the changes of atmospheric pressure. The movements of the capsule are amplified with a mechanical system to make them visible through the dial.
There are four versions of the watch case available, the white gold, pink gold, white gold with white diamonds and pink gold with black diamond. The case features a water tight crown with raised Da Vindice crest and one automatic lock push-button for the depressurization of the watch.
The dial of the watch is a unique skeleton one with large Roman numerals. The functions of hour, minute, date and power reserve are all displayed within the dial. The hands are distinctive in the flame-blued cathedral style while the barometer also features the flame-blued hands. The date display is located at 1 o’clock while the power reserve is at 10 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, a barometer is displayed. With such distinctive designs, the dial demonstrates the innovative spirit of the watch.
The movement of the new Da Vindice Vindex Tourbillon Barometer is a mechanical self-winding central tourbillon. It is able to reserve power to 42 hours.
Finishing the innovative beauty of the watch is a crocodile leather strap. Only 50 pieces of this Da Vindice Vindex Tourbillon Barometer are launched.
